Feishu, Yuque and Notion all export Markdown. Exporting a page and moving a knowledge base are still different jobs; images, hierarchy, databases and attachments quickly expose the gap.

This comparison reflects what ordinary users could access in October 2026. The menus can change, so test the real pages before a large migration.

No product wins every row. Each service models content differently, and each export keeps a different slice of the source.

Feishu

Feishu documents can be downloaded as Markdown through the official menu. Individual users do not need to build an API app just to save one document. The limitation is that every page is still a separate action and there is no one-click full-wiki download.

Image-heavy Markdown may still point to remote Feishu URLs. A durable archive needs an additional local-image step.

Where it fits:

  • A small number of documents: official export.
  • Dozens to hundreds: browser-extension batch export.
  • Automated teams: Open Platform API and scripts.

Yuque

Yuque has long been used as a Chinese knowledge base and writing platform. Some pages expose Markdown directly, while a full export is closer to downloading a knowledge-base package and cleaning it locally.

Check:

  • Whether images are included.
  • Whether tables, whiteboards and special blocks survive.
  • Whether favorites, shared pages and collaborative documents export separately.
  • Whether the export is limited by workspace permissions.

For personal archival, downloading the complete package and then cleaning the Markdown is usually safer than copying pages one by one.

Notion

Notion exports are relatively mature. You can export a page or workspace as Markdown and CSV with an asset folder.

The hard part is database structure. Relations, views, formulas and computed values may become CSV or static tables. The person migrating must decide whether to rebuild those structures in the destination.

Where it fits:

  • Workspaces that mix pages and databases.
  • Teams willing to reconstruct database logic.
  • Migrations that do not require an exact copy of every source interaction.

Migration cost includes more than format

Consider:

  1. Whether the hierarchy maps to folders.
  2. Whether images move with the text.
  3. Whether internal links need to be rebuilt.
  4. Whether comments and permissions must be recreated.
  5. Who will verify and maintain the result.

File format alone underestimates the work.

Choosing by scale

A few dozen personal documents

Use official export and a browser extension. Save text and images locally before importing into the destination.

Hundreds of team documents

Pilot a small subset and inspect folders, images, tables and links before running the full migration.

Thousands of documents or continuous sync

Use APIs, scripts and a governed process with logs, retries and sampling. A browser extension is for assisted migration, not unattended synchronization.

Define completion before choosing a tool

A successful migration has readable text, working images, understandable folders, handled permissions and a sampled verification step.

Without the last step, a large export may simply be a pile of unusable files on another drive.

A practical conclusion

Do not build automation for a one-page check, and do not use a one-time extension as a permanent sync system. Decide scale, image handling and destination first.

To save a few Feishu documents locally, official export is enough to begin. For batch processing, local images and offline portability, a browser extension fits the job more closely.
